This policy explains what personal data Z&Z STROTEC CO., LTD. (萬洋國際有限公司) collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it removed. We are the data controller.

What we collect, and why

  • Inquiry form — name, company, email, country and the details you write in the message field. We use this only to answer your inquiry and to quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
  • Newsletter form — your email address, used only to tell you when we publish a new Expert Column or a significant Knowledge Library update. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type. We use this to see which articles are actually read. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland this is switched off until you accept it in the banner at the bottom of the page. Legal basis: your consent.

We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not run remarketing.

Who processes it on our behalf

  • Formspree — delivers the inquiry form to our mailbox.
  • Mailchimp (Intuit) — stores the newsletter list and sends the emails.
  • Google (Analytics 4) — website statistics, only after consent where consent is required.
  • GitHub Pages — hosts this site and keeps standard server logs.

These providers process data outside Taiwan, including in the United States. Transfers rely on the providers' own standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Inquiries: 3 years from our last exchange with you, so we can pick up a returning enquiry with its history. Inquiries that lead to an order are kept for 7 years, as export and accounting records require.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
  • Google Analytics: 14 months, then deleted automatically.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@zz-strotec.com and we will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

To withdraw analytics consent after accepting it, clear this site's data in your browser — the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its own cookies, and only once you have accepted. Your choice is stored locally in your browser, not on our server.
