Taiwan is one of the world's leading producers of CNC machine tools, and the heart of the industry is the Taichung Precision Machinery Corridor — a dense cluster of lathe builders, machining-center makers, bar feeder manufacturers, and component specialists spanning Taichung, Changhua, and Nantou. Few places let you see this many machine tool factories within such a short distance.
If you are considering sourcing machines or parts from Taiwan, visiting in person is one of the best ways to understand build quality, meet manufacturers, and build long-term supplier relationships.
