The standard dry container is the workhorse of machine tool shipping. The 20GP offers around 33 CBM and a max payload of approximately 24,000 kg — ideal for heavy, dense components like linear guideways, ball screws, and servo motors, and it comfortably holds about 10–11 standard Euro pallets. The 40GP offers around 67.7 CBM, making it the best choice for medium-sized machines or large bulk orders of tool holders and bar feeders.

🏗️ 3. Open Top — OT (開頂貨櫃)
For oversized CNC machining centers that cannot be loaded through standard doors, Open Top containers are the go-to solution. They lack a solid fixed roof, allowing an overhead crane to safely lower heavy equipment directly into the container from above before it is covered with a waterproof tarpaulin.
開頂貨櫃： 對於無法從標準櫃門裝載的超大型 CNC 加工中心，開頂貨櫃是首選方案。它沒有固定硬頂，可讓天車從上方將重型設備安全垂直吊入櫃內，再覆蓋防水帆布。

If you are importing massive, over-width, or over-height industrial equipment, Flat Racks are required. With no side walls or roof, they provide maximum flexibility for irregular dimensions.
平板貨櫃： 若進口的是巨大、超寬或超高的工業設備，則必須使用平板貨櫃。它沒有側牆與頂蓋，為不規則尺寸提供最大裝載彈性。
플랫랙: 초대형, 초과 폭, 초과 높이 산업 설비를 수입한다면 플랫랙이 필요합니다. 측벽과 지붕이 없어 비정형 치수에 최대한의 유연성을 제공합니다.

Always ensure your supplier properly calculates the CBM and weight distribution. Proper lashing, structural fixing, and moisture-proof packaging (such as vacuum foil) inside the container are just as important as the container itself — they prevent rust and damage during ocean transit.
