When machining high-precision medical bone screws or micro electronic components, engineers operating TSUGAMI, STAR, or Citizen Swiss-type lathes often encounter a critical bottleneck: micro-vibration. When spindle speed ramps up beyond 6,000 RPM for micro-drilling (<3mm), unexpected vibration severely degrades surface roughness (Ra) and dramatically shortens tool life.

⚡ High-Speed Speeders: The Double-Edged Sword
Gear-multiplier speeders boost turret drive RPM by 2x to 5x. However, many procurement teams overlook the impact of gear backlash. In high-speed applications, live tools built with ground gears and ceramic bearings can meaningfully suppress micro-vibration and extend tool life compared with standard off-the-shelf components, which makes it a worthwhile upgrade to evaluate.
高轉速增速刀座的雙面刃： 增速刀座能將轉速提升 2x 至 5x，是微孔加工的利器。然而許多採購忽略了齒輪背隙（Backlash）的影響。在高轉速應用下，採用研磨齒輪與陶瓷軸承的動力刀座，相較一般市售規格品能有效抑制微震動並延長刀具壽命，是值得評估的升級方向。

A BMT or VDI interface that fits is only the first requirement. The precision of the drive coupling (polygon, square, or round) determines real-world stability. Where an order calls for it, we can arrange dynamic balancing and runout inspection before export, with results evaluated against the applicable drawing or agreed acceptance criteria. Confirm the inspection scope in writing at the quotation stage, as it is not part of every supply.
